FREDRICK FAVORS
Welcome to Solomon’s Heritage Academy. I am delighted to be called to serve as the founder of this institution.
Here at Solomon’s Heritage Academy we have high expectations for our scholars. Our school is faith-based and we value a rigorous academic climate which provides structure and a loving environment.
We have come through forty years of challenges where we had to face the warfare of DISMANTLING AN IMAGE (VISITUDE) AND DESIGNING AN INTENT (VISION)! Our next level begins with DEVELOPING AN INHERITANCE (VICTORY)! It is incumbent upon our generation to work to leave wealth for future generations to do KINGDOM WORK! We must do this while staying in line with ministering and educating our young boys.
Solomon’s Ministry will be our triune approach for this journey! God’s revelation of this for us after years of fasting and praying has come to fruition. It has been affirmed by his “FAVOR”! Proverbs 22:6 DIRECT your CHILDREN onto the right path, and when they get older they will not leave it.
In order to DEVELOP AN INHERITANCE, we must create a village. The structural components of the village must be physical, nurturing and mental on a SPIRITUAL FOUNDATION! Thus, as Solomon was instructed to build, we are instructed to build buildings with an approach to ministering and educating. Secondly, we must nurture our children onto the right path. Finally, we must teach and expose our youth to the secular and spiritual knowledge of GOD! THIS IS NOW THE CHARGE WE ARE CALLED TO “FOR SUCH A TIME AS THIS!!!”
In 1977, I answered an even greater call to go into the entire world and preach the gospel so he could work to build the Master’s Kingdom. In his obedience to the call of God and quest for seminary training, my advancement continued in theology at Morehouse School of Religion and Columbia Theological Seminary.
My employment advanced in the public school system of Forrest City from 1979 to 1981. In 1984, I became an educator in the Cobb County Georgia Public School System. Later during the same year, I became the Pastor of Springfield Baptist Church in Thomson, Georgia, therefore, becoming the Fifth Pastor since its inception in 1873.
During my 40 years as pastor of Springfield, the church has experienced tremendous growth and many positive changes. Many ministries and services have been established to respond to the holistic needs of the membership and the community.
I am married to the former Elene P. Ward, a retired educator, and has two sons: Frederick, Jr., and Terence, and two loveable granddaughters: Adrianna and Briana.
I’d like to invite you to go to our website and learn more about our important mission of providing excellent educational experiences for all of our scholars.
We would love to have you come visit the school, meet our staff and become part of Solomon Heritage Academy’s story.
If you have questions, please contact us through the website.
